Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt → Errachidia → Ziz Valley → Erfoud → Merzouga

Begin your journey in Fes, a city steeped in history and culture, before heading south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, a charming town often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its European-style architecture and cool climate. Continue on to Midelt, nestled between the mountains and desert, for a quick break and lunch.

Your journey continues through Errachidia, where the desert landscape begins to take shape, and then on to the stunning Ziz Valley, dotted with lush palm groves. As you approach Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara, take in the sight of towering sand dunes. Reach Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you’ll embark on a camel trek to witness the stunning sunset over the dunes. Spend the night in a desert camp, under a canopy of stars.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Alnif → Tazarine → Nkob

After breakfast, begin your journey toward Rissani, a town known for its traditional souks and bustling markets. Continue through the arid landscape towards Alnif, a village known for its fossils, before heading to Tazarine, a small Berber town with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

Travel on to Nkob, a village nestled at the foot of the mountains, where you can admire the traditional kasbah architecture and enjoy the serene surroundings of the Draa Valley. Spend the night in Nkob, soaking in the peaceful ambiance.

Day 3: Nkob → Draa Valley → Agdz → Ouarzazate

Depart Nkob and travel through the scenic Draa Valley, a fertile oasis with date palms stretching as far as the eye can see. Continue along this picturesque route, passing through Agdz, a town known for its kasbahs and its position as a crossroads between the mountains and the desert.

Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where the famous film studios and the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou await. This town, surrounded by palm groves and stunning kasbahs, is a perfect place to explore and experience Morocco’s cinematic heritage.

Day 4: Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Atlas Mountains → Ouzoud Waterfalls

Travel from Ouarzazate to the iconic Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village that has stood the test of time and appeared in many famous films. Continue through the Atlas Mountains, where the dramatic landscapes will leave you in awe. The winding roads offer stunning views of the rugged mountain ranges and the valleys below.

Reach the breathtaking Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural wonders. Take time to explore the waterfalls, wander through the surrounding olive groves, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere. This peaceful spot is perfect for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty of Morocco.

Day 5: Ouzoud → Marrakech

After a serene morning at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, head towards Marrakech, where your adventure ends. The lively city of Marrakech, known for its bustling souks, historical palaces, and vibrant culture, awaits. Explore the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the magnificent Bahia Palace, and the peaceful Majorelle Gardens, rounding off an unforgettable Moroccan journey.
