Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca, Overnight in Rabat

Casablanca → Rabat

Upon your arrival in Casablanca, Morocco's bustling economic hub, meet your guide and start your journey with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque. With the tallest minaret in the world and striking ocean views, this architectural marvel is open to non-Muslim visitors, allowing you to experience its intricacies.

Following the mosque visit, travel to Rabat, the country’s diplomatic and administrative capital. As you settle in for the evening at your Riad or hotel, unwind and enjoy a peaceful night in this historic city.

Day 2: Rabat Exploration & Journey to Fes

Rabat → Meknes → Moulay Idriss → Volubilis → Fes

After breakfast, begin the day with a tour of Rabat’s highlights, including the scenic Kasbah des Oudayas and the regal Mohammed V Mausoleum. Continue to the UNESCO-listed ruins of Volubilis, where ancient Roman mosaics and columns paint a picture of Morocco’s early history. From here, visit the nearby sacred town of Moulay Idriss, where Morocco’s first Islamic city was founded.

On the way to Fes, stop in Meknes, known for its impressive gates, royal palaces, and the grand Bab Mansour gate. By evening, arrive in Fes, where you’ll check into your hotel or Riad, have dinner, and prepare for an immersive experience in Morocco’s oldest imperial city.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Fes - The Cultural Capital

Fes

Start your day with breakfast, followed by a guided tour of Fes el Bali, the oldest and most vibrant part of the city. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers an incredible maze of narrow alleys filled with markets, workshops, and historic mosques.

Witness the artisanal tanneries where craftsmen use traditional techniques to create leather goods, browse stalls selling spices, perfumes, and textiles, and explore the Al-Qarawiyyin University, one of the world’s oldest universities. As the day winds down, indulge in a Moroccan feast in the medina before resting in your Riad.

Day 4: From Fes to the Majestic Ouzoud Falls

Fes → Middle Atlas Mountains → Beni Mellal → Ouzoud Falls

After breakfast, leave the bustling medina behind and travel into the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the picturesque town of Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou. In Beni Mellal, pause to enjoy views of the agricultural lands and city walls dating back to the 17th century.

Upon reaching Ouzoud Falls, marvel at the 360-foot cascading waters and surrounding verdant landscapes. You may choose to hike along the falls’ many viewpoints or simply relax and enjoy the sound of rushing water. As night falls, settle into your accommodation with a scenic view of the falls.

Day 5: Scenic Drive from Ouzoud Falls to Marrakech

Ouzoud Falls → Marrakech

Following breakfast with a view of the falls, set out on a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking vistas, mountain villages, and the winding roads of Morocco’s most famous mountain range.

Arriving in Marrakech by the afternoon, you’ll have time to explore the vibrant souks, cafes, and historical sites at your leisure. As the sun sets, take in the energy of Djemaa el Fna square, where musicians, storytellers, and food stalls create a lively atmosphere. Spend the night in a Riad in the heart of Marrakech.

Marrakech

After breakfast, your official local guide will lead you through Marrakech’s iconic sights, including the stunning Koutoubia Mosque, the luxurious Bahia Palace, and the labyrinthine souks where traditional goods are sold.
