Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Your journey begins bright and early as you leave the historical city of Fes. Drive southward, passing through the picturesque town of Ifrane, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its alpine charm and unique architecture. A brief stop here lets you stroll through its well-kept gardens and see the famous lion stone carving.

From Ifrane, head towards the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you may encounter the playful Barbary macaques. Take some time to enjoy the fresh mountain air and perhaps feed the curious monkeys. Your journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stunning panoramic views, until you reach the town of Midelt, known for its apple orchards. Here, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the taste of Berber cuisine.

Afterward, drive towards the dramatic landscapes of the Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and ancient kasbahs. A stop at a viewpoint will give you a chance to take in the expansive oasis below. As the day progresses, continue your journey to the edge of the Sahara Desert, arriving in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Here, you will be welcomed with a warm mint tea before gearing up for a camel trek into the dunes. As the sun sets, ride your camel through the golden sands to reach your desert camp. Spend the evening under a star-studded sky, enjoying Berber music and a traditional Moroccan dinner by the campfire. Overnight in a desert camp.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Witness the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, visit Rissani's vibrant souk, explore Todra Gorge, and travel through Berber villages to reach Dades Valley for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Merzouga → Alnif → Ait Ouazik's Engraving Rocks → N’kob

After breakfast, depart from Merzouga and drive towards Alnif, passing through stunning desert landscapes. Continue your journey to visit Ait Ouazik's engraving rocks, where you can explore fascinating prehistoric rock carvings that tell the story of the region's history. Afterward, proceed to N’kob, a traditional Berber village known for its numerous kasbahs and beautiful palm groves. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in N’kob.

Day 4: Nkob → Draa Valley → Agdz → Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Atlas Mountains → Marrakech

Depart from N’kob after breakfast, heading towards the lush Draa Valley, famous for its vast stretches of palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Continue your drive to Agdz and then on to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa." After a brief stop, proceed to the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an iconic ksar known for its traditional earthen clay architecture. Explore the site before continuing over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Enjoy the spectacular views along the way before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your unforgettable 4-day Moroccan adventure comes to an end.
